Chapter 134: Chapter 134: System Evolution and Home



[3rd POV]

The world of Remnant was shaking. The power of Balmung and Gwen, was enough to cause the world to quiver and shake akin to an earthquake. The entirety of the Land of Shadows was now a land of complete white, as the energy covered the entire land.

Slowly that same energy began to dissipate, revealing Gwen, standing there with a blade in hand, a blade that had produced all of that energy. Across from her was the Brother Gods, or at least, what was left of them. Their bodies were coated in dark purple blood and gleaming gold blood respectively.

Walking closer, Gwen kept the coating of energy in her surroundings, not allowing the ones watching through their screen to see what she was about to do, as she walked closer.

"H-How" The Brother God groaned, pain filling his body for the first time in his existence, as he felt his Brother was already gone.

"I'm simply built different" Gwen said with a smile, while inwardly cringing at what she said. Walking closer, she sighed "Goodbye God of Darkness, you won't be missed" Gwen said bluntly, as her tentacles surged from her being, absorbing the two Gods with ease. Their power began to roll throughout her being, sighing as more and more power entered her. She felt her eyes begin to glow brilliantly with power, as her power over light and darkness grew to new heights, and at the same time, she summoned all the grimm she had saved up, absorbing more and more as several notifications appeared in her vision.

Gods no More

Gwen breathed out as she read through the quests, a smile forming on her face as she decided to get this next part done with, which was finding and saving Summer Rose.

Finding the woman wasn't difficult with her eyes, but it was the saving part that would be. The woman's mind was completely shattered from the horrific experimentation done on her by Arthur and Salem, to the point that Gwen was forced to erase all memories from the past decades, in order to save the rest of her psyche. Healing her body was the easy part, especially with her new power from the God of Darkness and the God of Light.

Staring down at the unconscious woman that her clone held, Gwen sighed "Go ahead and take her back to her kid, I need to finish the rest of my tasks" Gwen said, as she knew that it was time to absorb the Infinity Stones, and this time, she would try doing them both at the same time, so that she could get it done with quickly.

'Let's hope this doesn't blow up in my face'

[In a far distant world, an hour later]

An hour later Gwen had a smile on her face, as she looked through the eyes of her clone, and watched as Ruby sobbed as she held her mother close, the woman was confused about what happened, but also broke down sobbing as they explained what had happened, and where she had been. Gwen wanted to be there, but she knew it was best she got this done with now.

Staring at the Power Stone and Soul Stone, Gwen breathed in deeply and began the process. "Let's do this" she muttered, the boosted gear appearing on her arm as Canis Lykaon also activated, a glowing dark blade forming as she began to slowly but surely "Cut" away at the stone, it's bonds slowly being severed from her power.

Her eyes showed her the "String" that held them together slowly began to get cut, as she began to breathe out. Sweat would have trickled down her face, if she could sweat that is.

Over the next few hours, Gwen had precisely and carefully cut away at the bonds, and slowly began to bind them to herself. The Power Stone was the first to slowly be bound to her, as she gasped, a new source of power entered her being, as her eyes glowed a bright purple, and the stone promptly disappeared.

The second it did, she felt her cores begin to grow more and more powerful at a constant rate, as the Infinity stone joined it's other brethren as one of her "Infinity Cores".

Absorb Infinity [IV]

The next stone, the Soul Stone, had taken a lot longer than the Power stone, and had required her to slow time in the surrounding area, so that she could be working for months, while only a day would pass on the outside. In this case, it was 1 week for her was 1 hour to them. It took her a total of 3 weeks to complete the Soul Stone.

The entire time she worked on it, she felt it whisper to her, attempting to stop her with its power, but failing as her mental power was far beyond even it. She felt the Stone be severed from the MCU, the souls within the stone returning to their own Multiverse, as it slowly bound itself to her, and the current universe, where it would then bind itself to every universe she travels to in the future, even the Otherworldly quest ones.

As she bound it to herself, Gwen breathed deeply as she felt its power begin to enter her very soul. Her once powerful soul began to mutate and grow to an even higher level, being a perfect mixture of Black and Gold, two colors that formed into what was one Omnipresent web that traveled around her mindscape. A web that held the Soul Stone within its very core, alongside the Matrix of Leadership. Her other Infinity Cores floating around one another, circling the very essence of her soul, as if protecting it alongside the Matrixes of Leadership. The Four Cardinal Weapons also were rotating around her soul, glowing powerfully as wisps of energy entered them, strengthening them to new levels.

Breathing out at the sensation, her eyes glowed a powerful orange color, akin to the soul stone itself, as her Omega Energy and her Ultimate Energy began to rapidly grow in power, one being boosted by the Soul Stone and Power Stone, and the other purely through the Soul

Stone.

And with this, her cores began to grow in power rapidly as well.

10 Cores (Silver, Mid) > Silver (High) > White Core

The new levels of power was a welcome addition to Gwen, who let out a pleased sigh as the assimilation finished, her soul (s) was now boosted to a new level, her cores and energies

were now at a constant gradual increase,

Grinning happily, Gwen turned all her new NL tickets into TL ones. She was saving everything

for the next system evolution, so that she could gain a new burst of power from the "SSL" tickets as Gwen decided to dub them, the Substellar Tickets. Better than SL which was the

same name as Street Level.

"Good...very good" Gwen sighed out in pleasure, clenching her fist at the power within her.

"Now, let's get back to Beacon and the girls'

[1 Month Later]

An entire month had passed since she had killed Salem and the Brother Gods, and quite a few

things had happened.

First and foremost, the fact that the grimm had been wiped out had been revealed to the

world a couple of days later, once more and more huntsmen and huntresses reported no sightings of even the smallest and weakest grimm. A piece of news that shocked the world, as it had come out of seemingly nowhere.

The only piece of information that Ironwood gave out during the address, was that the woman who had been saving Faunus around the globe was the same one who had ended the Grimm for good, this piece of information had led the Faunus in Menagerie to begin using the title of "Goddess of Faunus" one that embarrassed Gwen, but she couldn't say no to.

It was through this that Gwen was able to wipe out the final bits of Faunus mining camps, and

the last of the White Fang (the evil members at least), leading to a couple more quest

completions.

Naturally she had completed another challenge quest over this time the second she could, it was a rather...underwhelming one that was completed similarly to the others, but not even

remotely as interesting.

Magic Magic?

Details - Gellert Grindelwald has gained access to power not his own, defeat him, and save

the magical communities and muggles around the world.

Challenge Mode - Do with only Harry Potter Characters. Gellert has the permanent loyalty of

the Elder Wand, and is allied with Credence Barebone, the Obscurial.

And that quest completion, had led to Gwen's current situation, as she stood on an uninhabited moon off in the far reaches of space, staring at the notification in front of her.

Details - It's time for the next evolution of the system, an evolution much needed for the

dangers of the next world.

painful due to the users soul being powerful enough to handle the strain] [Y/N] Grinning widely as she sat cross legged, Gwen replied "Go ahead system" and as she did, a

soft gasp escaped her lips, as the words changed. [Beginning system evolution into the TL System!]

Gwen breathed deeply at the sensation as she felt the power of the system begin to warp and change deep within her, as a new function began to be added, and old ones warped and changed. The process took about as long as the system had and wasn't nearly as painful as last time, if anything, it was...comforting.

Finally, after five minutes of evolution, a new notification appeared in her vision.

from a list given. Universes like DC, Marvel, and a few others are most prevalent on this list

due to the number of characters]

"...50? That is...not at all surprising to be honest. It only makes sense, considering the differences in power level between each of the evolutions from now on. TL is only continental

to multi continental, while SSL goes all the way up to brown dwarf stars" Gwen muttered, not shocked by the change, as it did make sense with the power difference. "System...convert all the tickets you can into SSL ones, and then...consume them all" [Affirmative]

Gwen breathed out with a wide grin as she read the characters. The ones that caught her

attention the most were Artoria, Boruto, and Great Red. Artoria was obvious, for Avalon and Excalibur came with her, both of them were monstrously powerful items, one in defense and healing, the other in pure power. Boruto had a lot of power form his Jogan, Kama, and everything else that was going for him. And Great Red was the True Dragon God of Dreams, making it obvious as to why he was a good addition.

"System...go ahead and assimilate" Gwen said, as she knew that soon...soon she would be

going to the next universe, one where she would find challenges and threats to her very life.

As she said this, she breathed in deeply, as power flowed into her very core, the world around her shaking in response, all the while, she grinned widely. '...Let's hope this will be enough for the next world' Gwen thought, as she closed her eyes, and

allowed herself to assimilate in peace.

[Days Later]

Days after the assimilation of her new characters, and she ascended into another realm of

power, Gwen was standing outside of Beacon, the girls around her, ready to leave for the next

universe.

They had completed the last few tasks in this universe, and had no reason to stay. "Have you guys said goodbye?" Gwen asked, as they nodded.

"Yep! Ruby was crying like a baby, but she understood that we needed to leave" Artemis responded with a grin, remembering the face the girl had made when they told her they had to leave. Thankfully her girlfriend Weiss was there to comfort her, something that had happened only recently was the beginning of their relationship, which they found to be rather adorable.

"And did you get everything you wanted?" Gwen asked Raven who nodded, having copied all the books from the library that she wasn't able to finish, sent off to the Tower of Fate. "Good! Now...let's get going before someone tries to stop us from leaving" Gwen said with a smirk, sensing the incoming group that was getting closer. Seemingly sensing it as well, M'gann giggled "Probably for the best!" Growing closer to Gwen, Gwen smiled as they all placed a hand on her, as she breathed in.

'System, begin multiverse travel' [Beginning Multiverse Travel...] [Quest Complete]

End of Remnant

Details - Complete all primary quests in Remnant.

As she read these words, Gwen grinned as she disappeared from Remnant, and was whisked to

another world to continue her adventure...an incredibly important world.

Reappearing with a groan, the girls struggled to stay standing as they reappeared in what

looked to be an alleyway. Even Gwen looked a little frazzled by the travel, but not for the same reason as them.

"Where are we, Gwen?" Korra asked, as Gwen breathed in a sharp breath, as she felt them, the...gazes.

[The higher beings of this multiverse see you...but shall not interfere unless they must] [Hidden Quest Complete!]

Gwen didn't open the notification and instead opted to walk out of the alleyway, the girls following her closeby. The gazes of the entities that has seen her had slowly disappeared, as Gwen rounded the corner, and gazed down the bustling streets of the city they had appeared

in.

In the of the streets, where the road ended, was a large building ascending higher than most

of the others, and one FAR more eye-catching.

"Gwen? Where are we?" Raven asked, as she stared at the building with Gwen.

Gwen couldn't help but grin widely as she looked at the large building, and then her notification.

Welcome to the Big Leagues

it's an "Alternate" 616, so not the exact same as the comics, but it does have a lot of influence. And this is what I meant by this arc/volume will be FAR better than the last two, for this is the last main arc of this fanfiction! It'll also be the longest, ranging from 100 to 200 chapters, and will have a LOT of very important events. It'll also be where she finds her final love interest!

You can expect for Gwen to face genuine battles, struggles, and "Near Death" situations in this universe. Considering beings like: Jean Grey, Mephisto, Celestials, Franklin Richards,

Death, The Living Tribunal, etc, all exist in this multiverse!

This chapter was a bit rushed, but I did want to get RWBY over with and get to the good stuff, being the Marvel universe!n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

I made the exchange rate 50 instead of 10, as she is starting to get some truly bonker

characters, and I thought that would be the best exchange rate from now on. Quests will begin

to get more difficult, and her rate of growth with the system will dramatically slow.

HOWEVER, she will begin to FINALLY use that intelligence of her to it's fullest potential.

Including: Serums, BS technology, all sorts of suits, A.I, space stuff, and all sorts of inventions!

More about this version of 616 will be explained and naturally shown through the fic, so wait
