Chapter 183: Marriage
The question made everyone curious. They stared at Erza, waiting for her response.
However, Erza with a faint smile replied, "yeah, it doesn't matter who David gets married to in this family because it won't interfere with my relationship with him."
She was very relaxed when she said that, but some people almost staggered.
"Erza, you must be crazy," someone said.
It was Alan, the young man who greeted them.
Erza just glanced at him without responding, as if he was saying what did it matter if she was crazy.
In fact, this was a clan with many crazy people. Some of the older people just kept quiet even though they were surprised.
"You don't mind, so it doesn't matter," Alice said.
And she was just as crazy as her daughter because she arranged this ridiculous marriage.
"Father, uncle, we can start the wedding. It doesn't need to be public, so let's just do it right here," she added, turning her gaze to the two old leaders.
The two looked at each other, and finally nodded.
"Okay, let's get started," Marcus said.
He and Stetson then stood up.
David could only show an unsure expression as he was still unsure how this marriage process would go.
"Get the bottle," Stetson said to a servant.
The servant nodded and went to the second floor.
At the same time, there were a few servants who picked up two wooden chairs that seemed to be one.
They placed it between the two sofas.
After that, Alice walked over to one of the chairs.
"Come sit down," she said to David.
She sat down on the chair she was aiming for, leaned back and crossed her legs so that one of her thighs came out of the slit of her dress. It was indeed white and smooth, quite thick.
Even the other Morgan Family members couldn't help but glance at the woman's thigh.
Then, Erza patted David on the back, as if inviting him to sit down.
Her mother and daughter asked him to sit down, he naturally sat down beside the woman.
Being near her, her fragrant scent flowed into his nose, a pleasant sensation.
David couldn't help but look into her beautiful face with that cold expression.
The more he looked at her, the more he felt that she was indescribable.
The impression David felt from her was similar to Evelyn.
They were in the same class, already fully grown so Erza and Jane were just little girls compared to them.
"You're going to marry me soon, so hold your curiosity," Alice said suddenly, returning David's gaze.
She clearly knew why David was looking at her so intensely.
"It's something that's hard to control," David replied.
His words only made people angrier as he really didn't hide his desire for Alice.
Alice stopped talking as the servant ordered by Stetson to fetch a bottle finally came down from the second floor.
He was indeed carrying a bottle. It was similar in size to a bottled water bottle. However, it seemed to be made of gold, but it was transparent.
Vaguely, David felt a mysterious aura from the bottle.
The servant handed the bottle to Stetson. The latter then walked over to David and Alice.
Alice stopped crossing her legs as she came over. She sat with a serious-looking expression.
David had no other choice but to follow her as the process might be a little troublesome.
Stetson's eyes looked into David's.
"Are you absolutely sure about marrying my daughter?" he asked in a sharp tone.
"Yes!" David didn't think of anything before answering.
He would keep answering if he was asked.
"Then put your blood into this bottle, about one tablespoon," Stetson said again.
David then did as he was asked. He cut his own finger so that the blood flowed out.
When his blood came out of his finger, everyone couldn't help but stare at his blood intensely.
Perhaps they smelled an intoxicating aroma.
"Mm, delicious drink," Alice said, glancing at David's eyes when the latter glanced at her.
David ignored her when she talked about her blood, but he thought that he could use it to bait her if she acted up in front of him.
Of course, he would not give his blood to her for her to drink before she gave him a decent amount.
The wound healed instantly as the blood coming out of his finger had already reached a tablespoon.
He did not want to waste any more blood than that.
Stetson frowned for a moment. Without saying anything, he moved the bottle in front of Alice while David observed the blood in the bottle.
For now, nothing had happened yet.
Alice did not need to be asked to do anything, she calmly did as David did until her blood flowed into the bottle.
When David observed, there was a slight difference between their blood.
Alice's blood had a more transparent color.
Inside the bottle, their blood did not appear to merge. However, even after Alice's blood entered the bottle, nothing happened yet.
It seemed that the process was not yet complete.
Stetson then capped the bottle.
After that, he shook it, forcing David and Alice's blood to coalesce.
Strangely, the bottle began to shine brightly, and the light enveloped David and Alice's figures and their chairs. David felt a strange sensation in his body. It was like he was getting a certain blessing for having performed the marriage.
It didn't last so long.
The light disappeared while Stetson stopped shaking the bottle.
To David's surprise, there was now a pair of rings inside the bottle, red in color.
Stetson then removed both rings from the bottle.
On closer inspection, one ring seemed to match David's finger while the other matched Alice's finger.
However, Stetson handed the ring that matched Alice's finger to David and then handed the other ring to Alice.
"You have to wear the rings on each other for the process to be perfect," he said.
Hearing that, David gave a strange look.
At least wearing each other's rings would make the wedding ceremony more perfect.
He turned his gaze to Alice.
"Your hand," the woman said suddenly.
She also turned her gaze to him as she asked for his hand.
This did not seem to make her feel awkward at all.
Since it was like that, David directed his hand to her.
Sure enough, she grabbed his wrist.
Her palm was really soft, slightly warm.
David couldn't help but fantasize about touching her entire body as he felt the touch from her.
With a rather gentle motion, the woman slid the ring on her hand onto his ring finger.
Her movements were really skillful.
However, suddenly after the ring was set on his ring finger, it suddenly seeped into that finger.
In an instant, it disappeared.
When it disappeared, David strangely felt the presence of the ring on his hand quite clearly.
'It turned out like this,' he thought.
It was just that, he could feel the ring's existence in his body.
If he wanted to destroy it with his power, it didn't seem difficult.
When he realized that, he couldn't help but smile strangely.
"Now it's your turn," Alice said, pointing her hand at David.
Her hand could not be said to be very slender, perhaps because of her tall physique, but it was very elegant with smooth white skin.
When she extended her hand to take his, David's heart skipped a beat.
'Amazing,' he thought when he finally held her hand.
His movements slowed down somewhat as he savored this moment. If he had put the ring on her finger so quickly, this moment would have ended instantly.
His slowness in that regard made Alice furrow her brows.
"How pathetic, you're trying to take advantage of the woman who will become your own wife. Don't think as if I'm going to run away after becoming your wife," she said, insinuating David.
"This is because you still don't answer about our marriage," David replied.
Having said that, he finally put the ring on his hand onto Alice's ring finger, and it immediately disappeared.
Without anything else needed, Alice withdrew her hand from his.
Her whereabouts became so clear to David that he was sure he could track her down no matter where she was.
"Your marriage is official!" Stetson declared in a loud voice.
Unfortunately, it didn't get any applause from the Morgan Family members.
In fact, Alice immediately stood up from her seat, making David frown.
Shua!
He grabbed her hand in response, stopping her from standing up.
"What?" Alice looked distracted.
"All marriages are only official after a kiss," David replied.
Alice, "..."
Everyone, "..."
Of course, everyone was stunned at David's words, but there was one who laughed. It was Erza.
"He's right, all marriages are only official after a kiss," she said with a chuckle.
She looked at her mother with a teasing expression.
"Mom, aren't you going to kiss your husband on your wedding day? Come on, don't act like a little girl, you're not ashamed, are you, to kiss?"
