Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf

Chapter 265: Chapter 186: Beasts and Gods.

The earth-shattering wolf howl and the overbearing presence that recklessly spread out caused the Variant Species Traveling Rat King, whose senses were the sharpest, to be the first to react!

Its eyes, originally filled with impatience and bloodlust, turned grave in an instant!

The strength of this presence made even it feel an endless sense of oppression!

Before the earth-shattering wolf howl had even faded, the Variant Species Traveling Rat King, the quickest to react, noticed a giant White Wolf, at least thirteen to fourteen meters in size, leap into the air for two to three hundred meters, before its massive body thunderously landed atop a towering ice wall!

Boom!

The White Wolf stood majestically on top of the ice wall, with the Ice Shards kicked up by its landing scattering all around!

It swept its golden-brown wolf eyes, filled with boundless chill, across every corner of the battlefield!

As the gaze of the White Wolf moved, every species it passed over felt a sudden chill throughout their body.

Even Bob and the others, whose bodily senses and reactions were far from as swift as wild beasts, felt an indescribable pressure slamming heavily into their chests.

They, who had been exhilarated at the thought of tearing through the Rat Tide, were now speechless, feeling as though they couldn't even catch their breath.

It wasn't until they struggled against their body's instinctual reactions and barely managed to shift their gaze towards the Heavy Armored display screens that a look of utter astonishment surfaced in their eyes.

For they had witnessed a magnificent sight unlike any they had seen before in their lives!

A massive White Wolf, several meters in size, stood coldly on a giant ice wall not far away.

It faced off against the endless Rat Tide and a Mutated Traveling Rat that stood erect, with a massive stature of eight to nine meters.

The once frenzied and terrifying Rat Tide fell eerily silent in the face of the White Wolf's dominantly spreading presence.

For the instincts and genetic warnings within wild beasts were signaling them of an ultimate danger.

In the bloodthirsty eyes of each Traveling Rat, a rare clarity returned under this extreme threat,

and looking at the giant white wolf, threads of fear flickered in their eyes.

Under this fear, the Rat Tide, which had been like a gluttonous demon, eerily ceased moving on the spot!

The battlefield, which had just been turbulent with blood and violence, seemed to have hit the pause button with the arrival of the White Wolf.

Bob and the other New Humans, who had just been dismissive of the Wolf Pack inside the Heavy Armored vehicles, now felt every cell in their bodies trembling, legs quaking, barely able to stand firm.

How could they have imagined that at the moment they were planning to use the Wolf Pack as bait to carve a path of blood, such an invincible, gigantic White Wolf would appear out of nowhere!

This White Wolf was likely the strongest Exotic Beast they had ever encountered, far surpassing the Variant Species brown bear they had taken part in hunting down last time.

The White Wolf, simply standing on the ice wall, exuded an endless ascending might.

The stillness of the terrifying Rat Tide was the best proof!

This left the many New Humans and researchers inside the Heavy Armored vehicles feeling a bewildering shock!

It was almost as if the scene before them was an illusion!

Could there really be such a powerful and peerless Wolf Clan?

And inside one of the Heavy Armored vehicles, Tiffany, who looked somewhat wilted and whose clothes were somewhat tattered, gazed at the enormous White Wolf on the screen.

In her pretty golden-brown eyes, she suddenly felt that this White Wolf looked familiar!

She forced herself to snap out of her shock and started searching through the storage device she carried, rapidly flipping through photos she had taken in the Arctic Tundra.

With a clear goal in mind, Tiffany finally found the series of photos she had taken of the White Wolf Hunting the Musk Oxen.

Her eyes went back and forth between the photo and the colossal White Wolf on the video, quickly realizing that this White Wolf greatly resembled the one she had photographed before!

Only, its body had grown much more massive!

White Wolf!

This truly seemed to be the White Wolf she had once photographed.

Indeed, that White Wolf was capable of Hunting down large prey such as Musk Oxen on its own!

What more now after these drastic changes to the world?

The White Wolf itself was an exceptional Hunter, and its growth to this point seemed not so hard to comprehend!

But through the White Wolf's indifferent eyes, Tiffany knew that this White Wolf, which had become a terrifying Exotic Beast, might have drifted too far from humanity!

In those indifferent eyes, there was no hint of emotion, just a quiet survey of the entire scene,

and yet, simply by standing quietly on the ice wall, not a single power and not one species dared to make the slightest move.

The ice wall the White Wolf stood upon was extremely tall, forcing all creatures to look up to see its full majesty.

When they looked up, strands of the Aurora in the polar night seemed to float above the White Wolf's head, casting it in an ethereal, dreamlike light.

As she witnessed this scene, Tiffany suddenly recalled a phrase.

What comes from the darkness, if not a beast, is a deity!

And this White Wolf, having emerged from the darkness, was both beast and, in a way, deity.

The White Wolf alone could deter the overwhelming Rat Tide!

But this quiet moment did not last long, as with a sharp cry from the Variant Species Traveling Rat King, the blood-red in the eyes of the Rat Tide deepened even further.

This intense bloodlust once more overshadowed the clarity in the eyes of the common Traveling Rats!
