Yesterday afternoon, I got the notification from the editor that the book could be launched, and we've decided to launch it tomorrow at noon!

The launch will take place promptly at noon tomorrow.

I want to thank my editor Yexiao Da, who has stuck with me for eight years. I'm grateful for his persistence with so many of my attempts that haven't panned out, and for his invaluable suggestions for each book…

Old Li was supposed to launch the book at midnight tonight, but since there were no drafts saved, the launch had to be postponed until tomorrow. He'll be up tonight writing into the wee hours, fortunately… Since having a child, Old Li has always been up all night writing.

I have to say, after several unsuccessful attempts, it's finally time to launch another book, which, with everyone's hard work, even made it up the rankings. Though we lost one PK, it was already an extraordinary achievement. Old Li bows deeply to you all!

I have mentioned before that, after so many failures, Old Li planned this fantasy novel to be his last, a sort of retirement from this 'martial world.'

Truth be told, initially, the performance was very poor. On the first day it was recommended, it gained fewer than two hundred collections, and the conversion rate was only 19 per thousand, while the average for recommended books is 35 per thousand…

But it was still better than the previous books, which barely got a few dozen collections per day when recommended, so I persisted and slowly it began to improve.

With Old Li's promotion, it was eventually featured in the rankings… Although the effect was mediocre, it was nevertheless an honor.

Regarding the strong push at the end of the new book period, the editor said to keep up with the reading. There were great hopes, so they decided to go ahead with the launch.

Having written books for so many years, launching them isn't new to me, but I am still very nervous this time.

After all, it's a time to see the actual results of the new book period, to see how many initial subscriptions there will be.

The new book had reached 210,000 words before the launch, which is quite lengthy for Old Li. With back-end fake readers at 3,800 and real readers, according to the editor, at 2,400, whether the initial subscriptions can reach 2,000 is anyone's guess. These days, the market is so challenging and enigmatic… hard to understand, completely baffling…

Therefore, I can only hope that everyone will give Old Li a wave of initial subscriptions during the launch to support… to give us a chance to eye the post-launch recommendations. Nowadays, recommendations post-launch are also competitive, judged on subscription data, no longer just the author's reputation...

Writing at this platform has indeed been difficult lately. Over the last six months, it felt like being unemployed. Old Li can only rely on this book to earn some formula money for his three-year-old toddler.

Of course, I no longer have grand ambitions for this book; I only want to finish it well.

After all, it is meant to be Old Li's last fantasy novel.

The target is three million words. Finishing the book is a victory in itself!

As for the updates after the launch, it's simple… ten thousand words a day.

In the past, Old Li was like an octopus, with a record month of over half a million words, so, everyone can rest assured and follow along eagerly.

This book, Old Li's goal is just to finish it, completely and thoroughly.
