"It feels like all the things here have quite basic enchantments…" I noted.

The Queen giggled, "Fufufu~ It is unfortunate that those with complicated enchantments are also cursed items. Those that were identified and regarded as safe were brought here first and it just so happens that the ones with basic enchantments were the easiest to identify."

Deciding that it was better to just go along with it than to argue, I let the Queen guide me deeper inside the vault until she reached a sword that was… Embedded inside a stone.

Please don't tell me this sword is called excalibur…

"This is Rocksword!" She gestured towards it cheerfully.

I waited for the explanation to come but the Queen said nothing.

I turned to her, only to realise that she was busy rubbing her cheek against my arm.

"Umm… Mama?"

"Ehehehe~ What is it, Aster?"

"What does Rocksword do?"

She jerked slightly as though she was woken up from a dream, "Hmmm? Oh right! Ehehehe! Silly me~ Rocksword is pretty interesting you see. Do you see the rock on the sword?"

"Hard to not notice it to be honest… Since it's not everyday you see a sword stuck in a literal rock…"

"Fufufu~ That's true. The enchantment on this is that you are able to freely change the size of the rock however you wish and the rock itself is pretty much unbreakable~"

I blinked, "Isn't this just an unbreakable hammer in the shape of a sword stuck in a rock then? Except you are limited in the place that you can hold the hammer to just the sword grip…"

Nevertheless, I reached out to grab the sword, wondering if I could actually pull it out of the rock.

I pulled on the sword and unfortunately the rock got lifted up with the sword as well, which I was pretty sure made for a rather ridiculous sight.

I tried to imagine the rock being so small that it was practically invisible to the naked eye.

Sure enough, the rock shrunk immediately until it looked like there was never a rock there to begin with, making it look like it was just a normal sword.

Huh… I think I can actually use this…

I mean… People would think this is a normal sword so while I'm fighting them, I could surprise them by enlarging the rock during the fight and smacking them with it!

And the fact that the rock was unbreakable meant that I could also expand it until it was huge to act as a shield too! This might actually be a great artefact!

"The sword is breakable, by the way," Levianne added, completely shattering my plans for the sword.

Great… Now I have a feeling the one that was enchanted isn't the sword but just the rock and the sword just happened to be there.

I briefly entertained the idea of just breaking the sword and keeping the rock as a magic rock that can change its size at will but decided that I wouldn't be able to use something like that properly either.

Moving on, she led me to another part of the room to show me something that looked like a folded piece of cloth.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Ehehehe~ This one is the Stockings of Knowledge. While you are wearing it, you can imbue them with mana and ask a single question once per day and it will answer your question to the best of its ability."

I blinked, "Ok… I have a few questions… Why is it in the form of stockings?"

Levianne shrugged, "I don't know Aster. It has just been like this from the start."

"Alright… And second of all… Was this what you planned to use in order to find out where that Off-Worlder is?"

"Oh not at all. Unfortunately, there are some limitations to what it can tell you. The information must be something that is known by a significant portion of the world for it to be able to answer the question accurately."

I was actually really tempted to pick that one until I stopped myself.

Wait a minute… I don't really need that to learn the recipes though… And even if I did… My cooking proficiency might not make it as good as it's supposed to be…

"Is there anything that might be more practical for daily life use in here?" I asked.

She practically dragged me with her to the other end of the vault until we reached another glass display that had what looked like a piece of black ring encased within it.

"What's this one?" I asked, feeling a bit curious as to why this would even be encased in a display like this.

"Fufufu~ Ring of Searching. When you are wearing this ring and activate it with your mana while thinking about someone you have met or something you have seen before, the ring will give you the direction of where that person or object is."

"Oh, does that lead me to the specific object or just all the same objects in general? Like if I were to think about a rock…"

"Unless you are specifically thinking about a specific rock, it will lead you to the closest object that has the same properties as it. So if you were to just think about a rock, it will lead you to the nearest rock. Same goes for people if you don't think about a specific person."

Ah, I see how this can be really useful now.

I can use it to always find the nearest sweets shop!!!
